千の風になって，这是一首跨界的歌曲，原来是一首英语诗，传到日本被谱了曲，翻译成日语来唱成了经典歌曲，又传到了欧美，欧美歌手再用英语去唱它。

据考证，这首诗最早是三十年代时，一位美国的主妇写给她男友去世的母亲的。然后这首诗传播了很远，但是没有名字。诗句很忧伤，唱给那些死去的灵魂，也许是因为疾病，也许是意外，可能是天灾人祸，但是可以把死亡看成是生命的规律，万物皆有生死来去的循环，世界上有小鸟有风有星星，那就是死亡变成的样子。后来，在战争中，有青年写的遗书有这首诗，911时，有女孩为亡灵朗诵了这首诗。
